Mice and Rats

Mice can enter your home by many means, such as through a small hole in the kitchen wash basin or washroom. Kitchen is the most likely place where mice control is to be done as mice tend to be
searching for food there.

The most common problem comes from the brown rat. As well as spreading disease, contaminating food and water, rats are also destructive to property and will chew on almost anything. Rats carry diseases hence need to be removed at the earliest convenience after an infestation is discovered.

Rats can also bite and are especially a problem if there are babies or very young children around. If you see a rat in your home or business property, it’s unlikely to be alone. Rats can cause damage, spread disease and breed quickly. Rats usually come out at night, so it’s unlikely you’ll see them during the day.

Our Pest Piper team will assess your home and locate the cause or point of entry for the infestation in order to prevent it from happening again. Once on-site, we can pinpoint the problem, whether it’s in the roof, vents or doors, and make recommendations which can be easily implemented.
